Gingery Kale Smoothie

There are lots of green smoothie recipes on the earth, some with avocado, others with matcha. But this one is a Fitbit favorite because it doesn’t try to masks the earthy flavor of the kale. Instead, a bit of little bit of citrus and ginger rework it into one thing recent and shiny. If you assume you don’t like green smoothies, simply attempt it. Pretty soon, you’ll be sipping it every morning.

INGREDIENTS

1 banana, peeled and broken in chunks
1 cup (6 oz/185 g) frozen mango chunks
2 cups (2 oz/60 g) torn kale leaves
1 cup (eight oz/250 g) Greek yogurt, plain, low-fat
1 cup (eight fl oz/250 ml) 100-percent orange juice
1 slice recent ginger

INSTRUCTIONS

In a high-speed blender, combine the banana, mango, and kale leaves. Add the yogurt and orange juice and toss within the ginger. Blend on high till thick and clean, stopping to scrape down the edges of the blender a few times. Add somewhat water to loosen, if crucial.

Pour the smoothie into tall glasses and serve chilly.
