Well, we did it. Moving week is over. Phew! That was kinda crazy and hectic and boy are my arms tired. And I have an excellent cluster of bruises and scrapes still lingering and healing up. Everything feels recent and new and I am making an attempt to get used to all the brand new areas and set ups. It’s humorous how muscle reminiscence works not simply with sports and actions, but in our personal houses! I maintain grabbing for handles in all of the mistaken locations and I am still getting used to all of the odd sounds and totally different nuances to each crevice of this new area.
But general, I’m so comfortable issues are going great! And most importantly, that the kitties are tremendous thrilled concerning the transfer.
So how has cooking been going? Well, as traditional, shifting week was full of takeout from Veggie Grill and Whole Foods, tremendous straightforward breakfasts and plenty of fruit, smoothies and Kind bars. Matcha and lattes too. Cooking sensible, I had solely made a couple of breakfast sandwiches and smoothies once I determined I used to be ready to a cooked entree. While they’re getting used to these new windows I’ve put in double screens and we re-screened all the screens with new materials. It is straightforward to purchase retractable screens that pop within the home windows to get additional security.

Meanwhile, I am just beginning to test out allllll the potential lighting situations in this new place. The climate has been loopy overcast the past few days so every part has a kinda moody glow to it in these photographs. Gray skies all day. It might be fun to see how the sunshine modifications and the place my favorite photoshoot spots find yourself being. I just can’t inform but with all these grey days!

Buttery, garlicky Ziti noodles..
This consolation food pasts is tremendous simple and is crammed with buttery-garlic, Italian herb flavors.
- 2-3 cups cooked pasta, any selection
- 1 tsp additional virgin olive oil
- Three Tbsp vegan butter (Earth Balance)
- 6-10 cloves garlic, minced or thinly sliced

- 1-2 tsp Italian herb seasoning, salt-free blend
- 1/8 tsp sea salt – or to style
- freshly floor black pepper OR purple pepper flakes, to style
- Garnish choices: recent basil, diced tomatoes, vegan Parmesan cheese, olives, pea shoots, chopped parsley..
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the pasta. prepare dinner till tender.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat a medium sauce pot over high warmth. Add the olive oil and garlic. Turn heat to low after a robust sizzle toasts the garlic. Once the garlic is nicely toasted, stir in the vegan butter. permit it to completely melt as you stir. Next, stir within the herbs, salt and dietary yeast – maintain stirring for Three-4 minutes, retaining the sauce on the bottom setting. Turn the warmth off and allow the sauce to take a seat. The trick right here: You need to be very careful as to not burn the garlic – garlic burns quite shortly.
