This hit house for me at the moment. My greatest good friend obtained the decision to place her complete household in quarantine after direct contact with somebody who tested constructive for Covid-19.
I’m positive you’ve heard all about this by now, so I assumed it might be a good suggestion for us to have an open dialogue about it.
This shouldn’t be a time for worry or panic, however let’s speak FACTS and all play it sensible – and do our half. ❤
You in all probability know by now what a research geek I am. 🧐
I’ll share with you what I do know (and what I don’t know), and the recommendation I’m giving my closest family and friends right now…
Day 9 of Corona Virus Quarantine
Prior to initiating voluntary quarantine last week I was being as cautious as attainable: washing my palms typically, taking stairs as an alternative of elevators, utilizing tissues or the tail of my sweater to the touch issues (door handles, and so on).
You might recall that I spent the primary couple of months of this yr taking care of my mother and father. That included a number of time in hospitals, doctor workplaces and pharmacies, interacting with residence health staff and others in and out too, among other things.
I have been taking additional precautions anyway during the last yr after contracting a virus in February 2019 on a visit house from Long Beach that attacked my microbiome and brought about me gut health issues that I’m nonetheless making an attempt to rebalance.
Add in news of a fast-spreading killer virus which we knew very little about on the time, and I was more aware of both self safety and of spreading my own germs round.
What Prompted My Voluntary Quarantine
No, I have not been uncovered to Covid-19 (that I do know of), and I should not have any symptoms – yet. More on that in a second…
Prior to the extra extreme measures of “sheltering” or “social distancing” we’re seeing now, we have been primarily advised to scrub our arms steadily and that it was thought to spread only by way of direct contact with a sick person. And even those messages weren’t really mainstream yet.
The turning point for me was my last visit to the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic in middle Tennessee to take my stepmother in for a follow-up appointment after her current bypass surgical procedure. This facility additionally has a walk-in clinic, by the best way. (information)
At that appointment on March 12th (simply over every week in the past), properly aware of the speedy unfold of Covid-19 and devastating news coming out of Italy, to not point out influenza nonetheless being “high risk” in our area, I was surprised to walk in and see no masks on the employees, not even gloves – no precautions of any type.
In reality, it was the exact reverse. 🤔
When the nurse took us again to the room she opened the door with naked arms, touching the deal with then holding the door open together with her full palm on the door for us.
(Who else had touched that door? Other patients? Other employees working with different sufferers?)
She closed the door, touching the other handle, then picked up an ink pen for the paperwork – then the blood strain cuff, and so on.
Never once did she wash her arms or use the hand sanitizer pump on the wall. She was not sporting gloves. She did her examination with those self same naked palms even (taking vitals, and so on).
We have been in a very small room, and I maintained my composure, but I used to be feeling extra uncomfortable by the second. Not only for me, not only for us, however perhaps even… the fact that Terri examined constructive for MRSA previous to her surgical procedure a number of weeks before. They seemed to take a whole lot of additional precautions for that in ICU. 🤷♀️
Next, the doctor enters the room, additionally not sporting even gloves (additionally touching both the door after which handles). He does not use hand sanitizer or wash his palms, and proceeds to take away the stay strips from her surgical incision – together with his similar bare arms. 😳
Is that even regular protocol?! (I feel not…)
I usually take the steps but Terri couldn’t, so we stepped in the elevator from the third flooring and an MMC employees (nurse, workplace employee? I’m unsure) touched the elevator button together with her bare arms to take us to the primary flooring.
I just… I didn’t know what to say. I mean, I don’t even contact elevator buttons on any normal day, and haven’t for as long as I can keep in mind.
Keep in mind this can be a constructing with a pediatric unit, a walk-in clinic for sick individuals, and properly: you already know, a healthcare facility!
Did I mention it’s flu season and it was (and nonetheless is) at “high risk” degree here?!
On what felt like a very long journey down three brief floors I (very) casually stated to the woman, “I notice no one here is taking extra precautiouns with the flu season or with news of the virus, is it not a concern?”
Her response: “Oh no, all that is blown way out of proportion.”
I politely replied “Ah, that’s good to know.” with a bit of a smile and proceeded to GTH out of there as shortly (and safely) as attainable.
I had my very own reasons for not discussing any of my thoughts or considerations with Terri (the affected person, my “stepmom”) on the time, and easily watched with curiosity and confusion – utterly MORTIFIED.
I was most perplexed how the employees in a medical facility could possibly be so flippant or oblivious or downright negligent… once they’re Italian counterparts have been sounding the warning alarms LOUD AND CLEAR.
It made me each very sad… and very concerned. 😌
I found myself questioning what nurses in Italy would have stated, or how they might have felt, if that they had witnessed what I simply had.
I can solely imagine healthcare staff in Italy can be some mixture of devastated and enraged, understanding in hindsight what they do now.
Washing Your Hands Is Not Enough
Prior to going in to the office for this appointment, once I first arrived at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, I went into the women room to scrub my arms.
The “wash your hands” campaign was properly beneath method right here by then. But I’ve all the time been a hand washer. It’s one thing we have been taught as youngsters, keep in mind? And in fact one thing that turned second nature by way of parenting.
Anyway, a woman and her granddaughter entered the restroom a few minutes behind me. They both touched the door coming in, pushing it open with naked palms after turning the knob too. They went on to a stall, touching each the deal with and the door on each side (both of them).
I just finished washing my arms once they got here out, or perhaps drying them and finding my chapstick, but I used to be completely satisfied to see she walked her granddaughter over to the sink to scrub her palms.
Out of curiosity, I watched. I didn’t gawk or anything. 🙂 I simply watched by way of the mirror while I finished what I was doing.
Here’s what happened:
They each touched the faucet handle with naked arms to turn on the water. Remember: the same naked arms that touched the door deal with, the door, the stall door, and who is aware of what else IN the stall.
She instructed the woman on tops, bottoms, between fingers (it was a reasonably good attempt!). Then the younger woman reached for the faucet and used her clean palms to show the water off – touching the tap she simply touched with soiled palms. 😬
(The grandmother by no means washed HER palms although.)
They each grabbed the door deal with with bare palms to go away, and “palmed” the surface of the door (once more) to carry it open as they have been walking out.
Then in fact… grandmother (who didn’t wash) grabs girls hand and walks off.
Honestly: mind blown. 🤯
Is it REALLY that difficult to keep your arms clean, and not contact every thing in sight?!
Personally, if there isn’t an automated water or soap dispenser, and I don’t have a paper napkin or paper towel to make use of (I hold one in my bag often), I will AT LEAST not use my HANDS to touch ANY surface in a public restroom. EVER.
Am I alone on that??
I think about they touched the elevator button subsequent. 🤦♀️
Or who is aware of what number of doorways and door handles depending on the place they went subsequent. 😵
The moral of that story: contact NOTHING on the market!
This wasn’t about me being judgmental.
It was about me experiencing a heightened sense of consciousness of how simply germs (and viruses) might spread…
And feeling ZERO CONFIDENCE in this entire “just wash your hands a lot” campaign. 🤲
Besides, as I stated above, washing your arms alone just isn’t sufficient.
We now know that the Corona Virus / Covid-19 can stay on numerous surfaces for various amounts of time, and that it’s certainly airborne (there have been combined messages on that earlier on).
They have also discovered that it is being spread by asymptomatic individuals at a speedy price, people who appear and feel perfectly wonderful for so long as 2-3 weeks earlier than they show ANY signs at all.
This makes it quite scary, with individuals feeling high-quality and persevering with to go to work or go to the shop, or not dashing an excessive amount of to do Social Distancing – or quarantine themselves.
Because, you understand, when you don’t really feel it you then don’t have it, right? (Wrong!)
Err On The Side Of Caution
Everything I witnessed that day informed me: we’re in hassle.
It was a deep intestine feeling I couldn’t shake.
While I wasn’t sick and didn’t have any signs, I felt very uncomfortable with the quantity of “contact” happening out in the world, and VERY conscious of what number of healthcare amenities and workplaces I’d been in in the course of the preliminary “stealth transmission” part.
It can take up to 14 days before you develop ANY signs after exposure, or maybe you solely have delicate symptoms and dismiss it as seasonal allergic reactions given the time of yr.
During which era you’re actively spreading this probably deadly virus to anybody and everybody you (or your palms) come in contact with as you go about your every day life.
And by the best way, it’s not JUST affecting the older demographic. Not in America a minimum of. So far the large surprise is that nearly HALF of the individuals hospitalized for the Corona Virus in the United States to date… are 20-55 years previous.
I did not feel afraid of the virus.
Being younger and healthy I figure that more than likely it will be like having a terrible flu for me personally, or greatest case just delicate signs and fast recovery. I wasn’t terribly fearful about that part once I made the choice to quarantine.
More than something, I felt involved concerning the probability of being exposed, given I was in and out of high-risk locations through the time period that it was beginning to unfold by Community Transmission right here in the United States. And in fact our lack of testing, which means: lack of any real knowledge.
I didn’t need to probably spread it to anybody else.
Just watching the amount of naked hand contact between the restroom and the exam room on the medical middle that day made me understand that it will be solely too straightforward to place WAY too many people in danger – even when you THINK you’re being careful.
Especially in the event you breathe when you’re out and about. 😉
Or sneeze… which might simply hit you out of nowhere in fact, and is probably dust or allergic reactions or – your first actual symptom when you’re standing in a crowded grocery retailer full of individuals making an attempt to replenish on provides. 😳
I felt like going (and staying) house was the socially responsible thing to do.
That virtually felt like a drastic measure over every week in the past, except that same day all major sporting events have been canceled and Walt Disney closed all their parks.
The extra I researched the outbreak, the extra I felt positive it was the RIGHT thing to do. And in fact far more info has been shared during the last week since then – making me VERY glad I’m isolated in my own home (alone).
Covid-19 is spreading fast and furious, and it IS in your again yard.
I mentioned my greatest pal can also be underneath quarantine now, however not voluntary like myself. She has a large mixed household in her house, and certainly one of her stepson’s went to visit his mother in the hospital.
His mom is in the hospital with pneumonia.
The undeniable fact that ANY hospital would permit visitations our outdoors visitors (anyone aside from employees & patients) right now’s past my comprehension.
But the truth that she had pneumonia ought to have meant a firm NO and speedy quarantine – given the current state of unknowns.
Shortly after he returned residence from the hospital, the place my good friend (responsibly) had him undress and put his garments in the washer and go shower… she obtained the decision from the hospital that the mother he visited tested constructive for Covid-19.
What little I do know is that it is NOT like a pregnancy check. The outcomes take a while. So they needed to have recognized, or no less than suspected and already tested her and have been simply awaiting results.
Yet they let a young boy into the room without protective gear. 😕
Obviously not every hospital or medical middle is as negligent as the 2 examples I’ve shared with you right here… however does this not concern you – whereas we’re watching a worldwide pandemic unfold?!
It does me.
In my opinion it’s criminally negligent – plain and easy.
There appears to be no hope of containment right here in the United States with school students partying on Spring Break and ignoring the pandemic, and certain individuals / amenities in our healthcare system taking ZERO precautions.
Not to mention individuals clearly incapable of correctly washing their arms, and then maintaining them clean.
By the time everyone seems to be “forced” to stay house (I’m unsure how nicely that’s going to work here in the U.S. given individuals aren’t respecting the severity of the state of affairs to date, we’ll see)… the “silent spread” may have already taken a deep maintain.
I don’t say that to frighten you. The virus itself shall be delicate for many healthy individuals. However, it’s a DIRE state of affairs, and very critical, and there are some issues it is best to significantly contemplate – in the event you haven’t already.
Including preparations for issues you could not have thought-about but, which I’ll talk about in more element just a little further under.
Everything SEEMS okay, right?
🇺🇸 This timeline for the outbreak in Italy is a sobering read for those in the United States, given it’s stated we are solely 10-14 days behind them.
Basically, a 38 yr previous man examined constructive for Covid-19 in mid February. He felt sick and went to the physician on February14th and was treated for the flu and despatched residence.
Two days later (Feb 16) his condition was getting worse so he went to the hospital reporting respiratory issues.
No precautions have been taken at the moment as a result of there was no suspicion of Covid-19 (but), so the virus spread to other sufferers and healthcare staff while he was on the hospital.
During discussions in the following days, his wife talked about he’d met a good friend that just lately returned from China (that later examined adverse) however they then tested and discovered this man and his spouse have been constructive for Covid-19.
They did in depth screenings and checks on everyone that probably in contact with either of them. They traced it again to a connection on January 19th. The contaminated man had no symptoms, he was asymptomatic for weeks, and lead an lively social life during these weeks – earlier than shifting on to additionally unfold the virus on the hospital.
➡️ FROM JANUARY 19TH TO FEBRUARY 14TH HE WAS LIVING LIFE AS NORMAL WITH AN ACTIVE SOCIAL LIFE (AND NO SYMPTOMS)
That similar “quiet period” is what we’re in now right here in the states.
Any one among us could also be chargeable for the subsequent cluster of deaths right here – simply by going about regular every day life.
Updated timeline on the outbreak in the United States
I have been monitoring the numbers since 5am Saturday morning (March 14th)…
Important to notice is that Italy is proactively testing. They examined ALL 3300 individuals in one area, and 1.7% examined constructive, as one instance.
3/14 Saturday 5am: 2,174 confirmed instances in the U.S.
3/21 Saturday 5:43am: 19,624 confirmed instances in the U.S.
* source (with nonetheless VERY limited testing)
In the last 23 hours alone 2,288 extra individuals have died from the Corona Virus around the globe.
Those numbers can be outdated (and much larger) by the time you’re reading this.
There is far hypothesis (and argument) relating to the mortality price of the Corona Virus, but let’s all hold in mind there are nonetheless virtually 176,000 individuals sick with this virus – and we don’t know yet if they’re going to get well.
And in fact that does not embrace the number of people who haven’t been examined but, and people (how many?) that slid underneath the radar as influenza (flu) associated deaths before they started testing or tracking instances/deaths right here.
The numbers weren’t disclosed, however the CDC said in a hearing that quite a lot of these exams after deaths involving pneumonia did indeed check constructive for Covid-19.
Another focal point is that the Corona Virus is affecting a larger age vary in the United States compared to different nations.
They are at present saying 40% of Covid-19 hospitalizations are ages 20-54 in the U.S. to date. That’s quite totally different than the older demographic in different nations.
Why, you ask?
I’m not a physician OR a scientist, but that is my greatest guess:
The U.S. persistently ranks lowest on most health factors in comparison with different nations, issues that rank a person larger danger for problems from this specific virus.
Examples: U.S. has the very best obesity price, highest fee of diabetes, greater numbers of individuals with heart disease & lung illness (at youthful ages), and so forth.
It hasn’t been released but whether or not all or most of those in the 20-54 age vary that have been or are hospitalized had pre-existing circumstances or widespread health issues.
There continues to be quite a bit to study as this unfolds…
The United States undoubtedly faces it’s own challenges with this pandemic, however has a minimum of had a head start in getting ready for it. Although…
I’ll simply let that one sit.
Not everyone can keep house or quarantine.
Which is why these of us that can… MUST – for his or her sake as much as ours.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Consider one man in Italy, no symptoms, out dwelling his regular life for almost a month… before he “felt sick and went to the doctor.”
He had no concept. They had no concept. Who might have recognized?
➡️ That’s exactly the place we are in America right now.
(which means: many with no symptoms, many oblivious, many not heeding the warnings to stay in & not interact, and so on)
A sobering thought, indeed.
This is the rationale I selected to quarantine myself given all my hospital/clinic exposure in January and February. It was initially for the beneficial 14 days, but I’m now planning for a minimum of 30, then I’ll reevaluate the state of affairs at that time.
We are previous the purpose of containment, and of the (MANY) thus far untested… we’ve got NO concept how many of us are uncovered and/or contaminated (yet).
But we CAN assist slow down the unfold by staying house and ready this out, and giving our educated professionals a chance to do their very best work out there. ❤️
We simply have to take a seat tight and keep away from one another, and let it cease jumping from one person to a different!
It jogs my memory of head lice, once I think about how AWFUL that was when my youngsters have been youthful. ONE kid at college is all it takes to shut an entire faculty down and infest lots of (or hundreds) of houses.
But no less than we already have methods to eliminate that one.
(mayonaisse & a bathe cap works GREAT, btw)
We are all in this collectively…
I’m wanting into one of the best methods I may also help out now and help our group long run via all of this. I’ve been busy all week coordinating giveaways and negotiating deeper reductions, to assist get the merchandise you want out to you – whereas we nonetheless have a supply chain, and delivery. (eek!)
I’m also compiling an inventory of what’s out there to get safely delivered to your house (and how one can properly handle these packages once they arrive), together with meat and produce and groceries.
Even when you’re NOT involved concerning the Corona Virus…
There are two faculties of thought.
Some consider individuals are overreacting and that it’s not that huge of a deal.
There are quite a lot of causes for the divide, together with too much info – and never enough info (or knowledge).
Italy retains sending us warning messages, China shipped over half one million testing kits and a huge variety of face masks to assist us, Walt Disney shut down ALL of their parks over every week in the past, all main sports are canceled.
Do you’ve ANY concept the quantity of revenue from merchandise at a single Nascar race?! Restaurant’s 2020 projected gross sales have been $899 billion collectively (WERE) – in the United States alone, they usually’re closing down in droves.
Stadiums and universities are being transformed into makeshift hospitals as we converse.
All of this might be “extreme” as an overreaction OR as a easy precaution.
Keep in thoughts the Walt Disney theme parks and main sports all introduced their closing and cancellations over every week in the past – of their very own accord, previous to any suggestion or requirement.
That’s an enormous pink flag… Wouldn’t you agree?
Many of us here in the United States are in a surreal state of “sit and wait”. Some individuals are staying house voluntarily and willingly, some places like California this week are on a 30-day “stay at home order” – and then some individuals are out getting trashed on Spring Break or in any other case ignoring the ban of public gatherings. 😜
Regardless of your stance, A LOT of issues are occurring right now that will have an effect on EVERYONE – socially, physically, economically, you identify it.
Our food provide chain has taken a HIT in the previous few weeks making an attempt to keep up with the excessive demand. As has Amazon, saying a plan to hire 100,000 more individuals in the U.S. to maintain up with the demand.
Unfortunately, staff are working intently collectively and they are rising more and more anxious about that. Just this week Amazon briefly closed one in every of their amenities after a employee there examined constructive for Covid-19.
All of the things we depend on most right now: food production & supply, grocery shops, warehouse/supply and healthcare are at greater danger just because they’re in such high demand.
What does this imply for YOU?
That will depend on the place you reside and what the current state of affairs is, and your unique circumstances.
I don’t see something fallacious with taking each precaution, especially given the information in entrance of us. And truthfully, if I watched tv or read news and had seen this earlier myself, I might have been on the “staying home movement” over a month in the past – as an alternative of over every week ago.
I definitely wouldn’t have been hanging out in hospitals and such like I was!
Staying residence, or at the least respecting Social Distancing, is a small act of kindness for people who need (or will want) healthcare most – and people who work in healthcare. 💕
Not to say the countless other individuals working around the clock protecting the wheels turning on provide chains…
Together we will make a difference and help others by staying residence & staying healthy.
We can’t stop this virus (proper now).
What we will do is slow down the unfold to a manageable velocity, and give our individuals the prospect to do their greatest work to find a answer.
* If you’ve got a health emergency or get sick, call 911 or call the doctor/clinic/hospital and ask what you must do.
* Cancel all non important appointments and reschedule those at a later date. Or find out if they are briefly providing telephone/video consultations (many are).
* If you could have prescriptions that will probably be due in the subsequent two months, or in case your prescription refill requires an in-office go to, name your physician NOW to seek out out what the protocol is.
(My doctor is NOT seeing sufferers for a minimum of the subsequent 60 days and taking care of these things NOW – to allow them to stay nicely and give attention to the upcoming surge in wants.)
* Limit contact with individuals (and maintain a 10 foot distance in public), wash your arms typically, don’t contact something you don’t have to the touch, and don’t go anyplace you don’t HAVE to be.
To state the apparent I am not a physician or giving medical advice, simply recommendations. Follow the news, take precautions, use widespread sense, and comply with the rules and orders issued in your space.
KetoFam PSA: Covid-19 Preparation ❤
Many people who are exposed to the Corona Virus have milder signs, and most can get well at residence. This is right so as to release the healthcare system for people who turn into critically unwell.
Make positive you will have every little thing available NOW that you would want in the event you acquired a nasty winter flu, and sufficient for each member of your household.
I had a nasty flu a yr in the past February, so I purchased precisely what I used to get throughthat final yr. Things like chilly drugs, sugar free cough syrup & lozenges, fever & ache reliever.
Consider the statistics that this virus might last longer than your typical flu, and the number of individuals in your house, and have what you assume you would wish available – just in case it is advisable get well at residence.
Those gadgets could also be exhausting to get, and even unimaginable to get, by the time you need them – so get them organized NOW.
What can I do to assist?
I’m working on negotiating greater discounts for you for those who want low carb, diabetic pleasant or keto foods delivered. I’m also coordinating a collection of giveaways – so we will get as many packages out to as many individuals as attainable.
Right now your two greatest choices for SAFE delivery of belongings you need resembling groceries and househould gadgets are InstaCart and Amazon.
I am utilizing each myself and will share a detailed publish with you on that as properly.
I simply started utilizing InstaCart they usually gave me a $10 Off Refer-A-Friend Link once I positioned my first order. I consider that provides you free delivery and $10 off your first order. That’s what I acquired when a good friend advised ME about it.
I truly found Amazon to be cheaper than my local grocery store for staples I buy typically. Things I ordered there and received delivered quick embrace:
Coffee-Mate Sugar Free Hazelnut Creamer
Gevalia Coffee Colombian Roast ($3/bag cheaper than my store!)
I also received other things like laundry detergent and trash luggage and different primary househould gadgets – all delivered to my entrance door.
Also Nick of Keto Brownie provided 35% off to help out with people who need some chocolate therapy and/or keto meal alternative snacks on your “super fun staycation” (lol). 🍫
Use code “BROWNIE35” at Amazon Checkout for Keto Brownies. The Keto Blondies are my private favourite.
It IS perfect to use gloves to unbox / unbag issues outside, eliminate the gloves and packaging in an outside bin, wash your palms, disinfect the products you unboxed / unbagged, then put them away.
If they don’t seem to be perishable, I merely depart my packages sitting for 4-6 hours (but not on my front porch, because which will invite theft in unsure occasions like this).
The virus can reside on totally different surfaces for different quantities of time. The last report I learn of their testing said cardboard: 1 hour, plastic: 3 hours.
Again, I’m all for taking each precaution. A quick peak in the historical past books tells a whole lot of tales of pandemics, epidemics and such.
While it looks like we’re dwelling inside some disturbing apocalyptic film in the intervening time (or might quickly)… individuals have been by means of worse, with method less assets than we’ve got now.
There are many issues to be thankful for proper now. I discover training gratitude helps me get by way of the times of feeling anxious and unsure.
I additionally discover a sense of connection helps A LOT and I’m so grateful for all of you, and for our superb group as an entire.
Since I’ll be residence for awhile, I feel it will be enjoyable to do some informal stay video chats!
Stay tuned for dates/occasions, I’ll ship you an e mail with a link to hitch in stay or watch later in case you are up for a bit socializing and interaction whereas we “stand by.” 🙂
I’ll be bringing you artistic ideas for issues to do throughout this time, to make it simpler. A whole lot of us are or might be feeling anxious, may be or might get separated from associates & household, and so on.
I assumed I’d discover us all some FUN house exercises to do collectively too. 🙂
I’ve additionally been working from residence for more than 23 years now – so I may also help with that, for those of you being transitioned to a house office briefly.
I’ll be back with a GREAT recipe I attempted this week that turned out super scrumptious. 😍
Because you understand: I’m house now, so I’m cooking! 😅
I even have an enormous listing of grocery ideas for you, because: properly, being residence & cooking required actual groceries. 🙂
I have more really good offers & discounts for you too, I’m working onerous on these – and on the giveaways. I need to ensure you have entry to the belongings you want, with the savings you need right now too.
How else can I help?
If you need to speak about this, depart a comment.
If you will have questions – I’m no professional, but let’s talk about it! I’m doing my greatest to stay up to the mark and double examine “facts” to get a very good handle on what’s happening (now) and what the varied situations might probably be going forward.
I’m glad to offer a judgment free sounding board and Q&A hub for us to all attempt to perceive this collectively – and get via this collectively.
Social distancing is the responsible factor to do till we’ve more details (and testing). Voluntary isolation too, in case you’re in a position to do so. I made that selection due to the locations I’ve been during the last couple of months, and I felt a personal duty to go house and keep house and wait out the incubation period.
I’m young & healthy so I’m not afraid of the virus itself. I stocked up on “survive the flu” stuff as I discussed. I’m staying house in order NOT to participate in the potential spread.
But at this level, the more I study, the extra I need to keep away from it – if it’s not too late. 😜
For each excessive danger person, and for everyone having to danger their very own health to hold us by means of this… staying residence IS enjoying our half.
Talk to me…
How are you feeling, and the way are you doing?
I might love to hear what’s happening in your life, and the place you’re on all of this. To be trustworthy it had my thoughts in a total spin for a couple of days on finish. But I’m able to get again to work, and see the place I may be of greatest service.
I discover that helps once I feel anxious or weird or stressed (er, typically in this weirdo state of affairs lol!)… to turn my attention to what I can do for someone else.
Check in on a pal, get in an internet group you like and answer questions (or just be a great listener), send present playing cards or care packages by way of Amazon to individuals you’re separated from, get on a video name with a good friend, and so on.
I sit up for hearing from you. I’m positive you’ll have great issues to share with each other too! And we will speak “live” this weekend and this coming week too – so keep tuned for the links to these video calls. 😘
